“TV is a theme with our working titles, although slightly different this time! We had been talking about Red Dwarf at a practice, and the next week we were writing this song and Al had loaded Dr Hildegard’s voice onto his looper and played it over the song as we were writing it. It sounded great, so we decided to keep it. Hildegarde’s voice was actually on the final cut until someone pointed out we would need copyright clearance! We tried to get clearance but unfortunately couldn’t, so we had to have the sample edited out, but we kept the full words of the sample as the song title.

“I’m still a big Red Dwarf fan. It’s one of those shows that has a real nostalgia factor for me when I watch it, and as one of the main themes of the EP is fading youth and dealing with the feelings associated with that, I feel this song title is a real personal stamp in some way. It’s like a very prominent reminder for me that I’m never too old to do anything or like anything that makes me happy.”
